The other side of road crime

In its campaigning work, Brake often highlights personal stories kindly provided by volunteers bereaved or injured in road crashes. However, it is less often that we hear from people guilty of causing those deaths and injuries. This post is an anonymous testimony from a driver convicted of causing the death of a cyclist by careless driving. Details have been removed to protect the identity of the victim and the driver.
