Rt. Hon Greg Mulholland MP Greg is the member of Parliament for Leeds North West and has been since his election in 2005. The Liberal Democrat is known for his campaigning work, which once saw him nominated for best Campaigning Politician of Year in the Channel 4 Political Awards. Since 2011 Greg has been involved in the Jamie Still campaign after the 16-year-old was knocked down and killed by a drunk driver in his constituency.  Now Greg is aiming to change the law to improve justice for the victims of road crime and their families.

Justice for victims of criminal driving

On January 12th the Leeds North West MP Greg Mulholland presented the Criminal Driving (Justice for Victims) Bill in the House of Commons using the ten minute rule. Backed by 31 fellow MP’s this Bill will aim to increase sentences for those convicted of criminal driving offences that lead to serious injury or death. Here Greg Mulholland explains why he has been working on this bill.
