Races, exercise classes and fitness groups have been cancelled but if you're stuck at home during lockdown you can still get moving and raise money for Brake by joining BrakeFit.
There are lots of ways you and your family can stay active during lockdown while raising money to fund our vital work supporting people affected by road crashes and campaigning for safe and healthy journeys for all.
You could run a #BrakeZoom – set up a Zoom call with friends and get the kids to zoom around the room and tidy up their toys while you chat. You could make it a competition and award treats for who can find the most cars, Lego, books, etc.
Strut for Brake in the privacy of your own home by running your very own #BrakeDance danceathon with friends and family. Spinning on your head is optional and we reckon you could come up with some great Brake-themed playlists to dance along to... starting with Matthew Wilder's iconic 80s hit 'Brake' my Stride!
Or how about getting #BrakeFit by asking a local fitness instructor to run an online class in your community and donate some or all of the class fees to Brake?
Registration is simple. It costs just £5 to take part and you will receive a BrakeFit fundraising pack to help you raise money and log your activity.
