Attend a low cost, one day course to train you to lead Brake's powerful workshops for young people. These workshops help young people explore the dangers and environmental damage of driving, solutions to the problems, and help them to plan their own local campaigns to stop the carnage.

The course is is ideal CPD for teachers wishing to use the campaign in lessons. It is also ideal for professionals wishing to promote safety, such as fire officers or health professionals or driving instructors, or if you work with young people, such as in the army or football clubs. Brake is also keen to train you if you have been seriously injured or bereaved in a road crash and want to prevent others suffering, or if you are a concerned community campaigner or young person wanting to make a difference. No experience is necessary although you need to be prepared to stand up in front of a group of young people and help lead discussions.

2y2d_workshopAs well as the training, you get a guide to leading your workshops, and access to resources such as victim video stories and computer games in an online centre - all perfect materials for using in a classroom with an internet-linked whiteboard. You get a free year's subscription to Brake's Road Safety Forum, giving you updates on road safety news through ebulletins and a restricted website.

Thanks to subsidisation from our generous sponsors, the course costs just £45 (+ VAT) or is free if you have been bereaved or seriously injured in a road crash. For more information, dates and to book on, click here.
