The course is part of our 2young2die campaign and is ideal CPD for teachers wishing to use the campaign in lessons. It is also ideal for professionals wishing to promote safety, such as fire officers or health professionals or driving instructors, or if you work with young people all the time, such as in the army or football clubs. Brake is also keen to train you if you have been seriously injured or bereaved in a road crash and want to prevent others suffering the same way, or if you are simply a concerned community campaigner or young person wanting to make a difference. No experience is necessary although you need to be prepared to stand up in front of a group of young people and help lead discussions.
As well as the training, you get a comprehensive guide to leading your workshops, and access to our interactive site www.2young2die.info and resources such as DVD clips and discussion cards in a restricted online 2young2die resource centre - all perfect materials for using in a classroom with an internet-linked whiteboard. You also get a free year's subscription to Brake's Road Safety Forum, giving you regular updates on road safety news through ebulletins and a restricted website.
Thanks to subsidisation from our generous sponsors, the course costs just £45 (+ VAT) or is free if you have been bereaved or seriously injured in a road crash.
