In addition to Brake's services, there are additional agencies you may wish to contact if you have been affected by a road crash. The below list represents national agencies only. For more local agencies, call the Brake helpline on 0845 603 8570

Counselling organisations

The below three professional organisations may be able to provide you with details of therapists in your area who specialise in counselling people who have been bereaved or seriously injured in a crash. These therapists will operate privately, so you are advised to find out if your GP can refer you to a specialist for free through the NHS first. For more advice on this, read Brake's booklet Coping with Grief.
