Kill your speedBrake is delighted to announce that over 130,000 children from over 550 schools took part in our Giant Walking Bus in 2010!

Visit - www.flickr.com/photos/brake_road_safety_charity  to see photos from schools who took part.

The aim of Brake’s Walking Bus the project is twofold, to encourage schools to educate children about road safety and to raise funds for Brake to ensure we can continue our work with families who have been bereaved in road crashes.

In 2010, Brake continued to run a reward scheme to recognise schools who go above and beyond with their fundraising efforts and support the charity by donating substantial amounts.

Brake would like to take this opportunity to thank all schools who took part in the 2010’s Walking Bus with especial reference to:

Platinum Schools who raised over £1,200: Martin Primary School, London
