At 10am on Wednesday 20 June 2012 more than 120,000 kids marched for road safety by taking part in an annual Giant Walking Bus coordinated by Brake, the national road safety charity.

This exciting event is part of Brake's Kids Say Slow Down campaign which raises awareness about the dangers of traffic and how important it is for children to walk to school. The project also helps raise funds for Brake's services for road crash victims, and every year Brake tries to beat its own world record for the largest simultaneous walking bus.

Kids of all ages from London to as far afield as Hebridian islands are taking part in this giant march for a giant reason: to say no to speeding drivers, and yes to safe walking!
