Stephen Moorcroft - my gentle giant

  • PDF

Stephen MoorcroftI want to tell you about a wonderful man, my husband Stephen James Moorcroft who was killed on the 21st October 2008.

Stephen was a god-send to me; he was my best friend and the only one I could talk to properly. He was the one I could go to when i felt awful and the one I knew who would pick me up give me a cuddle and tell me all would be okay. He would me make laugh even if when was cross … well, trying to be.

We would sing and dance silly together. The driver of the car who killed Stepehn has taken my life as well as Stephen’s.

I now just exist … my life has no meaning without him. Everyday is a hardship because he is not here.

Anyone that knew Stephen, loved him.

He was killed 1 month before his 36th birthday, we were together for four and half years and married for just 18 months …. they were and are the best years of my life.

Stephen spoilt me …. he would always make me a coffee before I got up in the morning and always give me a kiss before he went to work.

To say I miss him is an understatement. I cant wait for the day when we will be together again again.
