The individual or team will have demonstrated tenacity and creative thinking to apply their idea positively.
This could be an innovative solution to a local problem, or to a more widescale issue that has affected a larger number of road users. It should demonstrate that the quality or safety of journeys for those affected has been improved by the individual or teams actions in applying the intervention. It should also demonstrate its attractiveness to be replicated by other officers or forces to have the same positive impact.
