If you have been bereaved in a road crash, you have our sincere condolences. Please use our National Road Victim Service at any time.
Collecting donations at a memorial event
If you are planning to collect donations at a memorial such as a funeral (either an event or a virtual event), we can help you explain Brake’s work and organise the collection effectively. For example, we can help you set up an online tribute and donation page. We can send you leaflets (printed or emailed), collection envelopes and boxes, pin badges and wrist bands.
Call Lisa on 01484 810445, or email fundraise@brake.org.uk.
Other ways to give
Fundraising for Brake
Some families join a Brake fundraising event or create their own fundraising event that suits them. Some families do this once. Others choose to do it more than once, for example on the anniversary of the death of a loved one.
Find out about opportunities on our fundraising pages.
Mentioning Brake in a will
Some people decide to mention Brake in their will. A donation to Brake in your will is tax exempt. All you need to do is explain in your will the amount you want to gift, and include the following details:
- Name: Brake
- Address: PO Box 548, Huddersfield HD1 2XZ, United Kingdom
- Registered charity number: 1093244
