20's Plenty for Us
20’s Plenty for Us was set up in 2007 in order to assist communities wanting lower speeds and speed limits. With a focus on the single issue of campaigning for 20mph limits for most roads across a complete local authority, it now has 450 local campaigns in UK, Ireland, USA, Canada and Australia. It empowers local campaigns, acting as a catalyst for communities to change their speed limits.
Association of British Insurers (ABI)
The Association of British Insurers (ABI) is the voice of the UK’s world-leading insurance and long-term savings industry. Motor insurers’ primary role is to deal with the practical consequences of being involved in a crash. Insurers are natural road safety advocates and will continue to campaign for meaningful action that helps reduce serious crashes and limits the harm sustained should crashes occur.
British Horse Society
The British Horse Society is dedicated to education, equine welfare, protecting and increasing access to bridleways and equestrian routes, and safety for horse and riders. The Society’s thriving and active community of staff and volunteers is committed to improving the lives of horses everywhere.
Cycling UK
We want people of all ages, backgrounds and abilities to be able to cycle safely, easily and enjoyably. Cycling UK has championed the cause of cycling for more than 140 years. With the support of our members, volunteers and partners, we promote all forms of cycling, protect the interests of existing and would-be cyclists, campaign for safer roads, and inspire people of all ages, backgrounds and abilities to discover the joys of cycling.
Freight Transport Association (FTA)
FTA is one of the biggest business groups in the UK, supporting, shaping and standing up for safe and efficient logistics. We are the only business group in the UK that represents all of logistics, with over 18,000 members from the road, rail, sea and air industries, as well as the buyers of freight services such as retailers and manufacturers whose businesses depend on the efficient movement of goods.

Institute of Highway Engineers (IHE)
IHE membership formally recognises your qualifications and industry experience. We’ve been registering engineers and technicians with the Engineering Council since 1972 and accrediting academic courses since 1989. We provide professional development opportunities, support and leadership for individuals to achieve and maintain professional recognition. You can take advantage of our extensive highways experience and trained specialist advisors, mentors and reviewers by becoming a member.
Kent Fire & Rescue Service
Kent Fire and Rescue Service is responsible for delivering fire and rescue services to more than 1.7 million people in Kent. We provide a wide range of services to our customers, whether in their homes, on the roads or out and about in the community, by assisting to bring about behaviour change and providing a high quality, rapid operational response. Our vision is to help everyone to be safer by working towards a future where no one is killed or seriously injured by a fire or other emergency.
Living Streets
Living Streets are the UK charity for everyday walking, seeking to create a nation where walking is the natural choice for everyday, local journeys; free from congested roads and pollution, reducing the risk of preventable illnesses and social isolation. Living Streets want to achieve a better walking environment and to inspire people of all generations to enjoy the benefits the simple act of walking brings.
National Police Chiefs’ Council (NPCC)
The NPCC brings police forces in the UK together to help coordinate policing operations; adapt to changing citizens’ needs and expectations of policing and reform the service to keep people safe; improve the way police forces work and learn from when things go wrong to build public confidence and support; and provide value for money by making the service as efficient and effective as possible.
Playing Out
Playing Out is non-profit organisation aimed at restoring children’s freedom to play out in the streets and spaces where they live, for their health, happiness and sense of community belonging. Alongside promoting and supporting the temporary play street model across the UK, Playing Out campaigns for safer, less traffic-dominated streets as a key factor in enabling children to play outside and get around their neighbourhood independently.
Sustrans
Sustrans is the charity making it easier for people to walk and cycle. We are engineers and educators, experts and advocates. We connect people and places, create liveable neighbourhoods, transform the school run and deliver a happier, healthier commute. We are grounded in communities and believe that grassroots support combined with political leadership drives real change, fast.
