Ross Moorlock, chief executive officer at Brake, said: "We’re really impressed by the calibre of entries we’ve received so far for this year's UK Fleet Champions Awards. It’s great to see organisations that are new to the Awards coming forward, but also a delight to see familiar faces – who we know are working really hard to address work-related road risk – once again telling us about their innovative ideas, new partnerships and products, and celebrating their progress towards making roads safer for all who use them.
"Sadly, many road deaths involve a work vehicle and driving is the most dangerous thing that many people do at work. The good news is that we know that with robust policies and procedures, and careful management, we can really make a difference towards stopping road crashes and preventing harm.
"We hope to see as many fleets as possible speaking up about their work to improve road safety by taking part in this year’s Awards.”
