DAVIS is a cloud-based programme which allows organisations to manage risk, safety and compliance of fleet drivers. Licence Check Ltd also provides licence checking services, fleet management, vehicle inspections, driver training and driver audits.
After undertaking a client survey, Licence Check Ltd noted clients faced difficulties identifying drivers that drive for business reasons. This suggested a compliance gap, where many grey fleet drivers were left unmanaged or unchecked. DAVIS Driver Audit was developed to bridge the gap, and it captures accurate and actionable data about employees’ driving activities including distances driven and the time of day their journeys take place. This is presented in a dashboard format, allowing a system administrator to view who is driving what vehicle, who requires licence checks, and whether the tax, MOT and insurance of personal vehicles need to be verified.
Licence Check Ltd’s customers have been using DAVIS Driver Audit to identify grey fleet drivers and implement grey fleet driver policies to reduce risk. Customers have praised the system’s ease-of-use, which helps when onboarding new employees, and reduces the risk faced when employees drive for work purposes.
The Fleet Safety Product Award, sponsored by Seeing Machines, was presented to Licence Check Ltd at the UK Fleet Champions Awards 2024. The award celebrates the product that does the most to improve fleet safety through innovation.
