How to leave your legacy
If you would like to leave a gift in your Will to support more families affected by road crashes, we strongly recommend you that you speak to a solicitor to ensure that your wishes will be carried out as you intend.

Wording for a pecuniary gift
I give £ (amount) to Brake, PO Box 548, Huddersfield, HD1 2XZ (registered charity number 1093244 for its general charitable purposes and I direct that the receipt of the treasurer or duly authorised officer shall be a valid and appropriate form of discharge.
Wording for a residuary gift
I leave X or a X% share of my residuary estate to Brake, PO Box 548, Huddersfield, HD1 2XZ (registered charity number 1093244) for its general charitable purposes and I declare that the receipt of the proper officer for the time being of the said charity shall be a sufficient discharge to my executors.
Wording for a specific gift
