As well as supporting Brake with funding, Bill Plant Driving School employees will get involved with Brake’s campaigns – including Road Safety Week, which is taking place from 16 to 22 November 2025 – and raising awareness of road safety throughout the year.
The partnership will see Bill Plant Driving School make an initial donation of £2,500, followed by a pledge to match the amount employees raise throughout the year up to an additional £2,500.
On average, five people die every day on UK roads and many more are seriously injured. Bill Plant Driving School shares Brake’s vision of a world where no one is hurt or killed on roads, and where every road victim receives the care they need. In supporting Brake, the company demonstrates its commitment to help change these unacceptable figures by educating and supporting the next generation of drivers.
Ross Moorlock, CEO of Brake, the road safety charity, said: “We are delighted to have been chosen by Bill Plant Driving School as an official Charity of the Year partner. We are so grateful for this funding and support, which will help us continue to campaign for safer streets and support road victims in their darkest times. We look forward to working together this year.”
Adam Pumfrey, CEO of Bill Plant Driving School, added: “As a driving school, our priority has always been to create safe, confident drivers who when they've passed their test, respect the road and everyone who uses it. Partnering with Brake allows us to extend that commitment beyond driving lessons – supporting vital education, campaigning, and support services that make a real difference in communities. Brake’s tireless work to reduce road deaths and injuries aligns with our dedication to training the next generation, and we’re proud to stand alongside them in promoting safer roads for all.”
