The telematics provider has been a long-time supporter of Brake and these prestigious awards, as well being as an award winner itself – in 2023, Geotab won the Fleet Safety Product Award for development of a market-leading software safety solution.

Geotab joins Brake and Driving for Better Business by National Highways who are working in partnership for the second year running to deliver the UK Fleet Champions Awards, which recognise the achievements of organisations working to prevent crashes and reduce pollution caused by work vehicles.

Brake has also announced a deadline extension – fleets, suppliers and anyone that is striving to manage work-related road risk now have until Friday 16 May to enter.

The awards are free to enter and are an excellent opportunity to celebrate the hard work of the organisations and individuals across the fleet sector that are making road safety a priority.

All entries will be judged by an independent panel of judges and presented at a glittering ceremony hosted by Brake in central Leeds on Thursday 25 September 2025. Last year’s event brought together more than 230 people from across the fleet industry to celebrate 60 shortlisted organisations and individuals, with winners across 11 different awards categories.

This year’s award categories are:

  • Company Driver Safety (sponsored by Fleetmaster)
  • Public Sector Driver Safety (sponsored by TTC)
  • Sustainable Journeys (sponsored by Zurich Resilience Solutions)
  • Dr Will Murray Award for Analysis and Action (sponsored by eDriving)
  • Fleet Driver of the Year
  • Fleet Safety Innovation
  • Fleet Safety Partnership (Sponsored by AXA UK)
  • Fleet Safety Product
  • Road Safety in the Community (sponsored by Seeing Machines)
  • Safe Vehicles (Sponsored by AIR-serv)
  • Road Risk Manager of the Year (Sponsored by QBE)
  • Kevin Storey Award for Outstanding Commitment to Road Safety

Final sponsorship opportunities are now available, please contact the Brake team on corporate@brake.org.uk to find out more.

Brake’s CEO Ross Moorlock said: “We’d like to thank Geotab for joining us as this year’s headline sponsor of the awards, we’re delighted to have their support for this important event. We want to celebrate the organisations who are working hard to make a difference – through the safe and sustainable operation of work vehicles, and by championing safe driving practices.”

Oliver Holt, sales manager UKI at Geotab, added: "Fleet safety and driver well-being are key priorities for Geotab. Our research shows that many drivers still don’t always get the support they need, so it's important to recognise the fleet operators who are setting the standard. We’re proud to support Brake’s UK Fleet Champions Awards and look forward to meeting the nominees and award winners."
