At Brake, we know that road crashes are devastating events for everyone involved.

Our team provides specialist emotional and practical support to families during their darkest and most difficult times. We help people cope with their grief and navigate the complex, unfamiliar procedures that often follow a road crash.

This year we have supported more than 2,000 families. Sadly, we anticipate many more families will need our help over the holiday period.

Please give £10 this Christmas to help us help more families after a road crash

Saarah would always put her problems aside to help you. It’s very hard and very rare to find a friendship like that. And I think that’s what made it so, so difficult – that someone so amazing, so loving, so kind, could be taken from us so soon

Ayeesha's best friend Saarah was killed in a crash caused by a drink driver

In this short film, Ayeesha shares her experience of how a road crash affected her life and how support from Brake helped her recovery. Warning: this film contains content that some people may find upsetting.
