Children in KS1 love to explore and experiment with new ideas supported by practical and interactive resources.
Engage them by providing plenty of opportunities for creative and physical activities based on stories and also real-life situations that they have experienced. Give them choices and the opportunity to ask/answer lots of questions.
Use technology to support learning in conjunction with other active learning strategies, such as discussions and projects. For children up to the age of about 8, the most effective way that technology can be used to support learning is through information-based resources related to children’s literacy levels.
