All entries will now be judged by an independent panel of judges from across the fleet sector. The winners will be announced at a glittering ceremony hosted by Brake in central Leeds on Thursday 25 September.

Tickets are now on sale for this event, and Brake are extending an open invitation to anyone in the fleet industry with a passion for road safety to join us for this event. Tickets are available here.

Last year’s event brought together more than 230 people from across the fleet industry to celebrate 60 shortlisted organisations and individuals, with winners across 11 different awards categories.

Brake’s CEO Ross Moorlock said: “We are delighted once again to see such high calibre entries for these awards, demonstrating the passion, commitment and innovation to make roads safer for all. We cannot wait to celebrate with the best of the industry at another fantastic event come September. I don’t envy our judging panel who now have to decide between such great entries.”

Mark Cartwright, head of commercial vehicle incident prevention at National Highways, and Anne-Marie Penny, senior road safety policy advisor and lead for Driving for Better Business added: “A huge thank you to everyone who entered this year’s UK Fleet Champions Awards and congratulations to those shortlisted! We look forward to welcoming you all in Leeds in September for what is sure to be a fantastic night in the fleet industry calendar.”

Oliver Holt, sales manager UKI at Geotab, commented: “Our research has shown that 88% [1] of British commercial drivers report that work-related stress negatively impacts their performance. With this in mind, we’re thrilled to be partnering with Brake to celebrate fleet professionals who are working to improve standards across the industry. This year’s shortlist at the UK Fleet Champions Awards is a true reflection of the innovation and dedication within the sector. We look forward to celebrating these achievements in person and encourage everyone to get their tickets and join us for what promises to be a memorable evening.”
